We noticed traditional flight schools typically focus on the wrong things in their messaging - the cost, technical details and timeline of getting you into the cockpit. But that isn’t why people want to fly. Exploration and adventure are. By showcasing a career that allows for world travel and a healthy work/life balance with a preferred pathway to an in-demand job, our team was able to develop strong, consistent creative with the theme “Explorers Wanted” and wove the magic of flight and exploration through everything.
When developing the logo, we wanted something that felt more like an outdoor lifestyle brand than an airline. Something that would look great as a patch on a hat or backpack. Something that reflected the excitement of exploration while also pointing to flight.
We created print, outdoor, digital and social campaigns as well as a brand anthem video, apparel, collateral/welcome packets and a website. And just for fun we did it all in about 60 days.
In the first year after launch, the LIFT Academy website received over 2,800 applications. Combined with one-to-one recruiting efforts, LIFT has seen full cohorts since inception.
